IT Projects Coordinator

General Responsibilities

Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated high complexity projects or program to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within defined scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction.

The IT Project Coordinator is responsible for various technical aspects of projects within the System Development Projects Group. The IT Project Coordinator supports the projects throughout various stages for the timely delivery of projects within budget, and according to business requirements, to deliver successful execution. The position is an entrepreneurial combination of exceptional technology project management knowledge and strong interface skills that must be accomplished. Define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. Initiate, develop, update and manage project plans including information such as project objectives, technologies, system specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing. Manage project execution stages to ensure adherence to budget, project timeline, and scope; monitor progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Establish and execute a project communication plan. May lead and guide the work of technical staff; serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.

Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable.
 

 

Education and Experience Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Sciences or related area from a four-year college or university is required. At least five (5) years of experience with programming technologies and its coordination tasks. 

 

Knowledge and Skills Required

• PMP Certification Preferred
• Ability to analyze complex problems.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
• Customer service skills an asset.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office and ability to prepare effective presentations
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and oral
 

 

 

 

Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm

Available to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required supporting projects in the region.
